Personal Note: St. Louis Airport

Speaking of pictures, I was on a business trip through St. Louis last week and came across this gender neutral bathroom in the airport. 

Have you ever seen anything like that?  I had to do a double take.  My first thought was, how many dogs actually pass through the airport to justify a doggy bathroom?  But then I read the sign carefully and its primary purpose is for service animals, which I imagine can be quite a bit with all the explosives and smuggling going on.  Still it’s funny and if you look at the second picture you can see one is suppose to clean up after the dog.

Since I’m at it, here are a few more pictures from that trip.  I took these two from the window seat on the plane.  That’s the great Mississippi River as we come in for a landing.

Finally I had a great view of the airport from my last night’s hotel.  Snapped a really nice sunset from my window.

Personal Note: Rosie's Fourth Birthday

Identical Triplets Born, Conceived without Fertility Drugs

Every baby is a one-of-the-kind human being unlike any other person who has ever been alive, but the Tierney triplets are an extreme rarity.

The Daily Mail reports 10-month-old Roman, Rocco and Rohan Tierney are identical triplets who were conceived naturally against up to one in 200 million odds.

Doctors initially told their mother, Becki-Jo Allen, that the boys probably were not identical. They were born via C-section after 31 weeks in the womb, each weighing a little more than 3 pounds, the report states. They spent several weeks in the intensive care unit of the hospital before coming home, according to the report.

“When they were in the hospital, the doctors said they were non-identical, but since they came home lots of people have said they can’t tell them apart,” their British mother said.
