O Holy
Night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is
the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay
the world in sin and error pining.
Till He
appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill
of hope the weary world rejoices,
For
yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on
your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night
divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night,
O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night,
O Holy Night , O night divine!
Truly He
taught us to love one another,
His law
is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains
he shall break, for the slave is our brother.
And in
his name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet
hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all
our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ
is the Lord! Oh praise His name forever,
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
I enjoyed that song Manny, it reminded me of when I use to sing it with a Pro Church choir... it's been a long time cause I only can recall the first verse and the end of the last but then again, the good sister, had us sing a lot of songs back then.
ReplyDeleteI'll close by saying, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS, WE LOVE YOU"

I hear YA Manny! As the Anchoress would most likely say, there sure are a LOT of “Strange Gods” around these days...lol
Merry Christmas and God Bless you and yours
Thank you and blessings back to you and your family.
DeleteEisley is a staple around my house :) a couple of my girls love them, so I've heard quite a bit of their music. They're quite good! My girls even saw them perform live here in Philadelphia.
