It
finally happened today at school. It
seemed that Matthew was late in losing his first baby tooth. He’s seven years old and one and a half
months. Is that late? I don’t know but it seemed the other kids
lost theirs earlier. The tooth had been
loose for the longest time and today biting into an apple at school, it finally
came out.
And
the school nurse put it in a baggy for him.
It’s there on the sticker by the shark’s tail.
Now
it’s under his pillow and he expects money for it from the tooth fairy…LOL. What should I give him?
Congratulations on losing Matthew's first tooth. It's quite an event in one's life. I think you should give him a fortune.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your family.
He's already got a fortune: love. ;)
DeleteHow fun! 7 is about average. One of my kids was 8 when she lost her first tooth. The going rate these days around is $2. They get you coming and going.
ReplyDeleteI was going to give him $10 but I wound up forgetting. My wife saved the day and put $5 under his pillow. He was talking about it when I got home from work.
DeleteI guest 7 is about average these days but when I was younger... and lost our teeth... what we got varied... Believe "IT" or not, we were so poor that when I lost a tooth and yes we did also put "IT" under our pillow... Long story short, when I found nothing under my pillow... mom simply said in so many words... Don't worry about "IT"... GOD will pay you in due time... Longer story shorter... our children all got $2 and our grand children get at least $5. ... "Inflation"! LOL
ReplyDeleteLet me know what Matthew gets.
God Bless
Victor! Always a pleasure. Yeah I hear you. I was poor too and didn't get any money. But Italians don't have a tooth fairy concept, at least not my family. We had some ritual of flushing it down the toilet with a prayer...LOL.
DeleteGod Bless you and your family Manny.
ReplyDeleteThank you Michael. And the same for you and your family.
