Yesterday was the great Solar Eclipse of 2017 across
the United States. here were others who took much better pictures, but I did capture these. The first is holding the Solar Eclipse Sun
glasses over the lens, filtering out the ultra-violet and infrared light. The second is using just natural, unobscured,
unfiltered lens. I think these were
snapped about 20 to 30 minutes before max obscuration, which was only about 70%
here. I tried to take it at max
obscuration but my hand kept shaking every time I snapped. These two were the best pictures I took.
If you want to see some professional pictures, you can
go to NASA’s website.
Well those are better than mine.
ReplyDeleteYour not jealous, are you? :-P
DeleteWe saw the eclipse very clearly in the UK. It was on every news channel.

God bless.
Touché. I'll get around to posting mine someday. But it looks like our views here were about the same as yours.
ReplyDeleteOf course this reply to Manny posted in the wrong spot.
DeleteThanks for sharing. I particularly, from an artistic/aesthetic viewpoint, like the natural-light one, with its clouds. They're both fine mementos of this remarkable event.
