Notable Quote: Ernest Hemingway

Hemingway had so many great quotes on either writing or reading.  Perhaps this one is my favorite.

“All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you: the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was. If you can get so that you can give that to people, then you are a writer.”
            -Ernest Hemingway

  1. And sometimes good books change the way you look at the world.

  2. That's so true! Sometimes I remember something I think happened and realize it was in a book I once read!

  3. LOL, that's funny Kelly. I'm not sure that's ever happened to me. Thanks Antonella. They certainly do.

  4. It's wonderful quote, Manny! And I have the feeling you will be writing a novel soon!

    1. One day perhaps, God willing, but probably not soon. It may have to wait until I retire. Thank you. :)
