Faith Filled Friday: "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman"

This past Tuesday was the Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.  Our pastor gave a wonderful homily on Mary's eternal yes to God, and then shortly after at the Offertory Hymn they played "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman."  It was touching.  I love this hymn, and Sarah Hart sings it beautifully. 




Gentle woman, quiet light, morning star
so strong and bright
gentle mother peaceful dove
teach us wisdom; teach us love

    I use this song to teach my CCD class the Hail Mary :)
